鈴木其一
染物屋の家に生まれた少年が、江戸琳派の総帥酒井抱一の内弟子になったのは十七、八の頃だったという。抱一の傍らで長く絵筆を握り、師の温和で詩情豊かな画風を叩き込まれながらも、其一の目はどこか違う方向を見ていた。抱一が没すると、その画塾を継いで一門を率いる立場に立つ。
