奥村政信
奥村政信は、自作の浮世絵に「浮絵根元」と刷り込み、本家を名乗った江戸の絵師である。遠近法で奥行きを見せる浮絵や、縦に長い柱絵を手がけ、自ら出版元も営んだ。絵を描くことと、それを商品として売ることが、政信の仕事ではつながっていた。 貞享3年（1686年）、江戸に生まれた。特定の流派に属した記録はなく、独学の絵師とみられる。
